Alice Celebrates Women’s History Month
March is Women’s History Month in the United States, and our DE&I committee found ways for our teams to support and celebrate one another all month long.
International Women’s Day – #BreakTheBias
International Women’s Day was March 8th, 2022 and this year’s theme was #BreakTheBias.
Imagine a gender equal world.
A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Together we can forge women’s equality.
Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias.
Members of our team took this pose to recognize #InternationalWomensDay and the vision of a gender equal world.
WHM Paint & Sip-The DE&I Committee hosted a Paint & Sip event for the entire company, joining together to paint the Mimosa Flower. According to NPR, on March 8, 1946, feminists in Italy chose the mimosa flower as a symbol of strength, sensibility and sensitivity for Women’s Day. Giving mimosa flowers is not a romantic gesture but one of solidarity. We joined together with Paint the Town to paint our own mimosa flower!
